In addition to the Marvel and DC franchises, a new superhero will hit the big screen in the coming years, offering a fresh perspective within the genre and with the potential to shine as brightly or even more than its animated version: InvincibleMark Grayson’s live-action adaptation promises to be spectacular, although its development has faced several challenges.
Through an interview with The Directthe creator of the work, Robert Kirkman
“I think the movie has to be absolutely perfect. It’s been taking us a long time to get the pieces to fit together and get everything to work so that we can make it as good as possible. So it’s been in development for a long time, and it’s probably going to be in development for a while longer. It has to provide a different experience, it has to remain true to Inv incible in some interesting ways. But it has to be its own thing. It has to stand on its own. The filmmaking process is definitely condensed. And that can be frustrating at times, but it’s also a fun challenge.”
Kirkman He admits that he has experienced quite a bit of frustration when trying to adapt various concepts and stories for the big screen. However, he also finds satisfaction in this challenge, as it allows him to introduce his superhero to a wider audience without losing the essence of the original comics.
It seems that this creative process will be long and require patience, but fortunately, Amazon Prime Video will help us liven up the wait with the new seasons of Invincible, which will arrive in the coming years with the aim of adapting the entire story of the comics.
