After the surprising success of RoboCop: Rogue City, the development studio Teyon is currently working on a new project.
The developer studio Teyon has now turned its attention to a new project after delivering a successful title with RoboCop: Rogue City. As fans on Reddit have now discovered, the studio is now hiring new employees for some key roles. The advertisements have one thing in common: they concern an “unannounced action RPG project”.
The description of the positions is quite cautious, so that no further concrete information about the new project is available. All that is clear is that a release is planned for both PC and consoles and the fact that the title is being developed based on the Unreal Engine 5.
Otherwise, the job advertisement for a cutscene designer states that it is preferable that the designer has experience working with actors on a set. Accordingly, it is likely to be a narrative title that is driven by such cutscenes.
In the past, Teyon has attracted attention primarily with titles based on well-known brands. Most recently, RoboCop: Rogue City was a surprise success, and before that, Terminator: Resistance was well received by players on Metacritic. Another example from the studio’s portfolio is Rambo: The Video Game. It cannot be ruled out that the new action RPG could also come from such a classic brand.
