Roller Champions: Release is further delayed

Champions, delayed, release, roller

With Roller Champions, Ubisoft is known to have a promising free-to-play title up its sleeve, but this is still a long time coming.

As has now been officially confirmed, the release of the roller derby title Roller Champions from Ubisoft has been delayed further. Since the end of the closed beta last year, things have been remarkably quiet about the title – and that seems to have a good reason.

Well-known insider Tom Henderson broke the news from the development team, saying they “evaluated every possible scenario.” Ultimately, the team was “given the result that it needs a little more time to deliver the successful game that you deserve”.

We are convinced that this is the right decision for the game, the community and the competitive scene. As a result, the new release period was finally communicated as “late spring”.

Roller Champions was previously announced in 2019. Two teams of three rollerbladers compete against each other in an arena battle to collect points. There was a beta in February last year, but we’ve been waiting for the official launch ever since. This could now take another two to three months to come.

My first time with… – Roller Champions

Today there is a premiere at “My First Time”. The good Pirmin does not gamble alone. He has grabbed the good Patrick and the two are playing the closed beta of Roller Champions.
