Trailer Root Film shows up again
Announced in October 2018, Root Film is expected for July 30 in Japan. Discreet since its announcement, the sequel to Root Letter recently got a new trailer, all in Japanese.
In Root Film, players will follow the adventures of Rintarō Yagumo, a director responsible for promoting Shimane Prefecture by producing a promotional series. To do this, he must play the other main character of the game, Riho, an actress. However, the characters will quickly be embarked on a dark story and murder, and nothing can go as planned. If it remains stingy enough regarding the gameplay of the title, this video however highlights the Max Mode, a mechanism that will allow players to launch a verbal confrontation using a repertoire of words, gleaned throughout the visual novel. The title is expected to be released worldwide, but no exit window has been released outside of Japan.
