As time goes by, more video games are betting or wanting to include among their game modes a Battle Royale. One of those who already did the test a few years ago was Path of Exile, which temporarily included it as a joke about April’s Fool that is held every year on April 1. However, it was so well received that Grinding Gear Games wanted to bring it back in its PC version.
All users can participate in the call Path of Exile: Royale throughout this weekend. Of course, it is important to note that will only be available on weekends in the coming months, specifically during the duration of the expansion Path of Exile: Expedition, except for the weekend of July 23 to 25.
Like other Battle Royale, this mode will be a PvP experience where all the players will face each other while they collect objects, get experience points and try to survive on an island that is gradually getting smaller. Each game will have an approximate duration of about 15 minutes
All the characters start at level 1 and must choose from a wide selection of passive skills exclusive to this game mode. The skills are designed to make the games very fast and, in addition, the tree in which they will appear will be easier to understand than the one in the main campaign. Even so, the objective at the beginning will be to obtain flasks and basic weapons to gradually improve the equipment that will remain mostly hidden in chests.
On the other hand, although killing other players will give many experience points, it will also be possible to level up based on kill monsters that will inhabit the surroundings of the island, although inside this is where the most powerful creatures will appear along with the gems and higher level pieces.
