News JVTech RTX 4090 Ti: Your PC is way too small for this Nvidia graphics card
Split :
Nvidia has been offering three models of graphics cards since the end of 2022. In the crowd we find the RTX 4070 Ti, the RTX 4080 and the most powerful in the world: the RTX 4090. Nvidia is already breaking records but wants to go even further with the RTX 4090 Ti.
Nvidia wants to break its own record with this graphics card
While the RTX 4090 continues to surprise with its performance, Nvidia already has a new project in the pipeline. Since the release of the RTX 4090, 4080, and 4070 Ti, we’ve been eagerly awaiting more “low-end” models like the RTX 4060 and 4050. But Nvidia is already looking to break its own record, as evidenced by some leaked images. We reveal the look of a brand new high-end model: the RTX 4090 Ti/Titanium.
Thought the RTX 4090 was big? It’s nothing compared to the RTX 4090 Ti. The model offers the possibility of filling 4 PCI Express slots, with the connectors (1 HDMI, 3 DP) arranged one above the other, unlike the other models in the range. A beautiful baby with a gigantic heatsink and vapor chamber just as big.
Like the Titan X from the Pascal architecture era, this graphics card is primarily intended for professionals. No need to buy it to play Fortnite in 4K, however this model could delight audiovisual professionals, as well as for renderings thanks to the Nvenc codec or 3D modeling.
We don’t know the beast’s price yet, but given Nvidia’s sometimes aggressive positions in the market and with an RTX 4090 priced at $1859, we can easily expect prices in excess of $2500. Hoping that Nvidia will be lenient with their customers’ budgets.
RTX 4090 Ti: incredible specs and more
But what does this RTX 4090 Ti / Titan offer then? First of all we can point out that it is an AD102 GPU with the much appreciated Ada Lovelace architecture. The chip features 48GB of GDDR6X dedicated video memory on a 384-bit bus. The most impressive is still the contribution of 18176 CUDA cores (1792 more than the RTX 4090), used in particular to take advantage of the resources provided by the software to work in good conditions.
For an RTX Titan under Ada Lovelace, we expect a maximum TDP of 800W, which is just huge. Either way, we should be able to get away with “only” 600W TDP for typical use, so get your best two-pronged connector ready to power the beast.
In itself an even more powerful graphics card that can surprise us with its peculiarities, but above all with the positioning of Nvidia, which had already offered a Titan model during the Pascal generation (GTX 1000). While the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 already shine for their in-game performance, even in 4K, we don’t doubt for a second what this model ++ could offer us. But the most amazing thing is finding leaked images for this model when the RTX 4060 and 4050 didn’t even point the tip of their nose.
The images don’t allow you to concretely see the size difference between the RTX 4090 and this titan, but your PC case clearly isn’t ready for that.
