Sony PlayStation is known to intensify its PC efforts immensely. The next title that is implemented accordingly could possibly be Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
About a year ago, in November 2020, the new Sackboy adventure appeared, which was no longer called LittleBigPlanet, but Sackboy: A Big Adventure. The cuddly title that is typical of the series has so far been reserved exclusively for the PlayStation 5, but could now also find its way to the PC.
Gaming forum users ResetEra have once again found what they are looking for in the SteamDB – at least indirectly. There is an entry for “Marmalade”, which was previously mentioned in the big GeForce leak.
So why does this point to a PC release of Sackboy: A Big Adventure? The answer is quite simple: “Marmalade” is the project name of the Sackboy adventure used before the official announcement of the PlayStation title. With the GeForce and the SteamDB leak, there are now two independent sources that clearly indicate a PC version of the colorful title.
Coupled with the fact that Sony is actually intensifying its PC efforts and recently brought Days Gone or Horizon: Zero Dawn to the platform, there are many indications that you can look forward to an announcement from Sackboy in the short to medium term. Most recently, a PC version of God of War from 2018 was announced.
By when can an official announcement be expected? Maybe tonight, because then the next edition of the State of Play video format will be released.
