Volition’s Saints Row reboot flopped and fell flat with numerous critics and fans of the series. Despite this, the game is not abandoned, instead are for 2023 a handful of paid and free updates and DLCs planned. What the roadmap has to offer is summarized for you in the following overview.
This is the Saints Row roadmap for 2023
in one official blog post developer Volition has shown what new content and updates will be released in the coming months. The planned DLCs are divided into two categories:
The new game areas, which are always the linchpins of the Expansion Pass extensions, can thus be explored by all players – and not just for those who buy the DLCs.
But be warned: Not all planned extensions have concrete details or release dates. In this regard, Volition wants to share additional information in the coming weeks and months. Here is an overview of the roadmap:

By the way: At the same time, developer Volition makes it clear that fixes and quality-of-life improvements for Saints Row have not yet reached the end of the road. Saints Row was plagued by numerous technical problems, especially when it was released, not all of which have been resolved to this day.
How things will look with Saints Row and the series in general is still in the stars. The Embracer Group behind Volition made no secret of the disappointing response from press and fans, as well as the meager sales figures (via Twitter). Of course you can read our detailed test of the game, we also have a review video ready for you.
