Netflix and the anime industry will be working together again very soon. After the overwhelming success of DanDaDanthe American company has announced the arrival of another adaptation of one of the most popular mangas of recent years in Shonen Jump.
Through its social networks, the American streaming service has confirmed the premiere of Sakamoto Days for the next January 11, 2025. However, this announcement has a negative side: as usual, the series will not be released in its entirety on the same day, but will be divided into two parts, with the second scheduled for July of the same year.
The series will follow the story of Taro Sakamotoa legendary hitman who, after meeting the love of his life, decided to leave his bloody job behind to focus on his family and his neighborhood store. However, he unexpectedly reunites with the criminal world and will have to resume his role as an assassin to protect the people he loves most.
The anime will be animated by TMS Entertainmentknown for successful adaptations such as Detective Conan, Dr. Stone and Fruits Basket. On the other hand, it has been confirmed that Masaki Watanabe, responsible for the opening of DanDaDan, will be the director of the series, which promises great sequences of action and humor.
