Fans of classic point & click adventures can look forward to the return of a classic. Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space is now celebrating a comeback in an updated form.
In its heyday, Telltale Games also devoted itself to the adventure classic Sam & Max and published several new stories in episode format. The second such title is now also celebrating a comeback.
After the first season called Sam & Max: Save the World had received a remaster last year, developer Skunkape Games is now going one step further and is also bringing such a new edition of Season 2 called Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space.
The adventure will be published in a modernized form this year and can be bought and played from December 8th, 2021. The supported platforms of the remaster are PC (Steam), Switch and Xbox One.
In a trailer, the developers show the revised version of the adventure including gameplay and updated graphics including new textures. The well-known characters can also be seen and make the hearts of adventure fans beat faster.
The remaster includes all five previously individually released episodes of the original second season. There should be no discount for owners of the original version on the PC this time, because Steam no longer supports this feature. However, if you buy the remaster, you will also get the original variants of Telltale and can play them too.
Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space Remastered will be released on December 8, 2021 for PC, Xbox One and Switch.
The second Telltale season by Sam & Max will also be reissued as a remaster this year.
