With augmented reality (AR), characters, objects, people or animals can be displayed in 3D in “real” life. Developers use the technology primarily for games and apps. Now the mid-range smartphone Galaxy A53 from Samsung can use the AR platform ARCore from Google.
In order to receive an ARCore certification, the camera, the processor and the motion sensors of a smartphone or tablet must meet certain requirements. Google tests new devices and activates them for the use of ARCore if necessary.
On Google’s list of devices with ARCore certification is Tech Blog SamMobile according to not only the Galaxy A53 to be found, but also the Galaxy A33 5G, the Galaxy F23 5G as well as the Galaxy M23 5G and Galaxy M33 5G. The Galaxy Tab A8 was also given the certificate.
If you own one of these models, you can take full advantage of all available ARCore games and applications, such as viewing animals in 3D in your living room.
