Good news Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: The great 5G smartphone costs 499 dollars
The Galaxy S is the top of the line Samsung smartphones. While the Galaxy S22 has only just landed, this model, released about a year and a half ago, has seen its price drop. A great deal for a still powerful and powerful 5G smartphone.
Samsung has picked up a pretty neat habit. When the brand’s smartphones reach the end of their generation, they release an improved version based on user feedback. The Korean giant calls this a “Fan Edition”. Hence the “FE”.
In short, the Galaxy S20 FE is pretty similar to the Galaxy S20… but better.
While it launched at $659 not so long ago (top-of-the-range price, eh), the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE seems to have found a new stability price: $499. We’ve checked all the major online sales sites and even the official Samsung website and we find this price almost everywhere. Good news.
Note that Fnac is currently offering a pair of headphones at -50% for the purchase of this smartphone, so this is certainly the best retailer you can go to right now to buy your new phone.

When it comes to smartphones, people are often mainly interested in 2 things: photos and batteries. So let’s start there.
Following the trend of recent years, this smartphone, like many of its siblings, relies heavily on the camera. The S20FE features a triple camera that combines a 12MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens and an 8MP telephoto lens. There is also a 32 MP front camera and the combination of 3x optical zoom and 30x SpaceZoom. Full of technical terms to say that the S20 FE ultimately does very well on this side. No matter how far away you are and what type of photo you want to take, the phone has a solution to fit.
As for the battery, we’re back to the classic for a rather high-end phone: 4500 mAh. This figure alone does not say anything since the other components and the software part of the phone can fall back on the autonomy. In theory, we assure you You’ll have enough for the whole day, even with fairly heavy use.
Note that this phone can accept maps MicroSD with which you can expand the storage capacity up to 1 TB really not very expensive. We would like to point this out, since most modern models, including those from Samsung, have removed this connector. There’s also dual SIM compatibility and IP68 certification for water resistance.
Otherwise nothing special to report. The Snapdragon 865 chip supported by 6 GB of RAM is still very powerful today. You won’t experience any slowdown even with the most demanding apps.
The 6.5 inch screen is very well made. AMOLED panel, 120Hz refresh rate for maximum fluidity … in short, everything is good. Especially at this price.
