Samsung wants to make old Galaxy phones more usable by replacing batteries. For selected models, the manufacturer is now offering an exchange for only 49 dollars.

- This should increase the service life of smartphones and protect the environment.
Samsung has started a battery replacement campaign together with Vodafone on the occasion of the international environment day. You can check your smartphone and, if necessary, have your battery changed for 49 dollars at 22 locations in Germany. Regularly, this often costs up to 80 dollars.
Which phones does the offer apply to?
Overall, Samsung is offering the campaign for 16 different Galaxy devices, all of which are at least two years old. You can take part in the campaign with the following devices:

- Samsung Galaxy A51
- Samsung Galaxy S8
- Samsung Galaxy S8+
