The release of a new console, and even more so when that console is eagerly awaited, usually brings out what is best for people: mass movements, fighting, theft, speculation, etc. And today there is an attempt to fraud related to the questionable PS5.

British side Eurogamer reports the latest listing of numerous photos of the PlayStation 5 on the eBay auction site, which were presented in such a way that a distracted and / or rash Internet user believes he has got the console.
The title of the advertisement is generally worded in such a way that at first glance it is indicated that the product for sale is the console, and the image in which these are depicted is often a full-size photograph of the console box placed there, which also indicates It is the console that is offered.
And worst of all, it worked. In response to these dishonest sales with indecent prices and to protect its users, eBay decided to take the floor to warn them:
We condemn these opportunistic sellers who try to deceive other users. We are currently in the process of removing all PS5 photo sales from our platform and will take appropriate action against the sellers. With every purchase, especially for expensive or high-demand products, buyers should exercise caution and read the listing description in full.
Caution is advised
After this press release was published, misleading announcements are generally gone. However, caution should be exercised before buying a PS5 on eBay, especially as consoles are currently being sold there at a price above the suggested retail price.
Note that this is not the first time smart children have attempted such scams. In fact, in 2013 a distracted gamer was fooled by buying a (bad) photo of the Xbox One on eBay for more than 500 dollars that was thinking of getting the console. The auction site then promised to refund ls to the buyer.
