Just a few days after its release, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is already preparing to launch its first season, which will bring a ton of new content.
Like its predecessors, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is regularly enriched with new content, especially through the now traditional season system. So Activision’s latest flagship title is starting very soon, with a busy first season.
Call of Duty Black Ops Season 1 takes date
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25th for PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Game Pass and is overall a welcome breath of fresh air. The four-year development period seems to have served it well, particularly with a successful single-player campaign, the addition of Omni-Movement, as well as a base game that is already well-equipped with multiplayer activities. However, this is just the beginning of the journey. The first season was recently announced and hostilities will begin November 14th
Lots of new features in multiplayer and Warzone
And the schedule for this first season of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 seems busy. Starting with the integration of Warzone, the free-to-play Call of Duty-flavored battle royale. This integration is accompanied by a brand new Resurgence map called Area 99. Speaking of maps, Season 1 will add six for multiplayer, including the return of the legendary Nuketown map as follows:
- Hideout (at start – 6v6)
- Extraction (at startup – 6v6)
- Hacienda (Mid-Season – 6v6)
- Nuketown Holiday (Wed Season – 6v6)
- Heirloom (At Start – 2v2/6v6)
- Brawler (Wed Season – 2v2/6v6)
Seven new weapons and two new multi-modes will also be included in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 as part of the first season. On the one hand, there is looting, which involves collecting gold bars from crates and bringing them back to the team chest. We also have the popular Prop Hunt mode, which allows us to transform into objects in the scenery to escape a hunter.
Zombies also get a new face
Season 1 of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 also does not leave out the very popular Zombies mode, which is in better shape than ever in this new work. This will actually get a new map, Citadel of the Dead (but will be delivered mid-season) and a new game mode. The whole thing will also see the arrival of all new and increasingly terrifying zombies, spicing up the story experience. All of this will therefore be available on November 14th as part of a major update, which should also include some fixes and additions to various features.
