Three years later, a One Punch Man short film by the manga artist resurfaced on the Internet and fans are now hoping for the third season to be at least as good.

One Punch Man, animated by the mangaka

It’s been five years since the second season of One Punch Man aired. And if the manga is still in the works, fans are mostly waiting to see what the third season of the anime will be like. Even if the most impatient viewers can’t see a preview, they can still console themselves with this short film animated by Yusuke Murata himself. As a reminder, One Punch Man is a manga written by One, while the drawing was entrusted to Yusuke Murata. In 2021, two years after the second season aired, the designer released this short film that beautifully illustrates both the immeasurable power of Saitama and the comic humor that gives this work all its charm.

A long awaited season 3

Many fans are waiting for news about the third season of One Punch Man. Five years after the second season aired, this new batch of episodes hasn’t really been presented yet as the manga continues. But also and especially because of the second season, which was considered mediocre when it aired, fans are now eager to discover this new season in the hope that it will live up to their expectations. As a reminder, JC Staff handled Madhouse to produce the One Punch Man anime. Despite the creation of Village Studio, Yusuke Murata’s animation studio, it is still this studio that will be responsible for the animation of this third season. The latest rumors point to a release in 2025, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet. We will therefore have to wait longer until we know more.
