If you like The Boys, we’ve got great news for you because the spin-off finally has some news. As they say, when there’s more, there’s more!
With summer in full swing and the fourth season of “The Boys” not even over yet, Godolkin University is already preparing for the start of the school year. In fact, we are already entitled to teases from official accounts on social networks for the continuation of the adventures of superhero students.
A mysterious tweet after The Boys
The tweet, accompanied by a photo of Jaz Sinclair, Marie Moreau’s interpreter (Gen V), wearing a Godolkin University hoodie, proclaims: “The courses are open“. As a reminder, Marie Moreau is a young superheroine with hemokinetic powers, that is, the ability to control blood through thought. This news clearly indicates that filming for the new season is underway.
Production on this new season of Gen V was originally scheduled to begin earlier this year, but was delayed follow ing the death of Chance Perdomo, who played the role of Andre Anderson, in March. Prime Video has confirmed that this character will not be recast, leaving an empty spot in this season’s cast.
Warning, the following contains spoilers. Meanwhile, the fourth season of The Boys is streaming weekly on Prime Video and already includes appearances from Gen V characters such as Cate (Maddie Phillips) and Sam (Asa Germann). Both characters were revealed in episode 5 of The Boys season 4 as stars of the film Vought Flipped and were also recruited by Homelander for a super-coup mission.
According to showrunner Eric Kripke, the second season of “Gen V” will pick up directly after the events of the fourth season of “The Boys.” The finale of the fourth season, which airs this week, is therefore likely to have great significance for the characters of Generation V. With the cliffhanger at the end of the first season, the start of the school year at Godolkin University promises to be intense and exciting, full of events.
