After the first retro console SEGA Mega Drive Mini, the successor is now in the house. The full game line-up of the platform has now been made public in advance.
The SEGA Genesis Mini 2 and SEGA Mega Drive Mini 2 will be officially available from October 27th. The successor to the retro console had already been announced, but not the full lineup of games – but that has now changed.
A total of 60 classic games from earlier days will be pre-installed on the platform, including well-known titles such as Phantasy Star 2, Streets of Rage 3, The Revenge of Shinobi, Ecco the Dolphin or even Night Trap. 12 of the 60 games mentioned are SEGA CD titles, marking the debut of the CD era on such a mini-console.

Seven “bonus games” are also on board, including two previously unreleased titles; others are new ports of games for another platform. The two unreleased games are Devi & Pii and Star Mobile, the five new ports are Fantasy Zone, Space Harrier 2 (+ Space Harrier), Spatter, Super Locomotive and Vs Puyo Puyo Sun.
The retro console is sold exclusively via Amazon Japan; in the west, around 10 percent of the total amount is said to be available from Japan – a circumstance which is due to the global shortage of semiconductors. The price is around 130 dollars.
