Anyone who hopes to be able to experience the next adventure with Senua soon has now had to deal with a small setback, because the production of the game is not at full speed yet.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is certainly one of the most anticipated games due to its great predecessor and the grandiose look. But who now hoped that the game is already well advanced and will possibly appear in the foreseeable future, has now been taught better.
As developer Ninja Theory has now confirmed, full production of the game has not yet started. Currently, they are in the process of preparing a good chunk of the game before the rest of the game goes into full production. You don’t just want to chase a sequel, you want to develop something special.
Among other things, art and audio teams were sent to Iceland to combine their own material with satellite data and photogrammetry in order to set up an accurate ninth century Iceland as a setting. Many employees have also received combat training in order to be as close to reality as possible during motion capturing recordings, among other things.
