After the Netflix hit “Sex Education” lost numerous cast members before season 4, there is now a promising newcomer: “Schitt’s Creek” star Dan Levy will be seen in the new episodes.
- “Sex Education” Season 4 has started filming.
- The Netflix series has to do without some familiar faces in the new episodes.
- Dan Levy from “Schitt’s Creek” joins the cast to compensate.
“Sex Education” is one of the most popular Netflix original productions, but as with so many series that take place in a high school, the end should not be far off here either. The characters eventually graduate, and most of the actors are way too old for high school.
At least a 4th season of “Sex Education” has been confirmed, but here fans already have to make do with some changes. Rakhee Thakrar, Patricia Allison, Tanya Reynolds, Simone Ashley and Mikael Persbrandt will not be returning in Season 4. So that Otis, Maeve and Eric aren’t too lonely in Moordale, the series now gets a new addition.
After 6 seasons of “Schitt’s Creek” Dan Levy plays his first further series role. Not much is known about his character, Mr. Molloy. However, it is safe to assume that Levy will play a teacher.
The end of “Sex Education” has not yet been confirmed, but it is likely and probably desirable that Netflix will end the successful series with Season 4. Ncuti Gatwa, as the new doctor in “Doctor Who”, will hardly find time for filming and Emma Mackey is also receiving more and more role offers.
Before the entire regular cast jumps out, a round conclusion is certainly the best solution. Well, now that Season 4 has started filming, we can expect Sex Education Season 4 to start around Spring 2023 on Netflix’s What’s New.
