Your nemesis awaits
As the name suggests, Shadow of Skyrim was inspired by the Nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor. Although you don’t build your own orc army, you create particularly strong archenemies.
Whenever an opponent defeats you in battle, he becomes a nemesis: he becomes stronger and gets a special name and a buff to match. You yourself, on the other hand, become weaker until you can defeat your nemesis. In addition, the Nemesis will use your equipment if it is stronger than her own.
After your defeat, you will spawn in a random or situational location. If a vampire has defeated you, you wake up in a vampire cave, if you were knocked out by a bandit, he might take you to a camp. You also get a quest that lets you hunt down the victorious opponent and retrieve lost loot.
It is positive that all systems of the mod are particularly well thought out. The modder has taken care to avoid possible bugs and exploits and ensures that a nemesis cannot become too strong.
