Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was a real risk-taking for Marvel. On the one hand, it was about introducing a relatively unknown character, getting closer to the basic principles of Asian cinema and reaching both Western and Chinese audiences.

A sequel to Shang-Chi, but not only!
Deadline will be announced as well as after Marvel and Hulu Onyx Collective signed an agreement, Destin Daniel Cretton is expected soon Be back to write the script and direct Shang-Chi 2whose release date and official title have yet to be published. This movie will expand the universe and bring Shang-Chi a bit more to the MCU, however he will not be alone to achieve it. In fact, the signed agreement appears to run for several years and would require the achievement of a TV series for Disney + and Hulu !
Information on this series is extremely sparse, but Variety says it should be comedy based on the graphic novel by Gene Luen Yang and produced by the family company founded by Cretton and Asher Goldstein. This information also reflects statements made by Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, who announced last September that many ideas have been studied to develop the universe by Shang-Chi. The latter also stated:
