The gigantic gaming monitor Odyssey Neo G9 from Samsung also comes as an 8K variant – that has been clear since AMD’s last product event at the latest: The US chip manufacturer teased the new high-performance monitor there, in which GPU AMD cores will be installed.
In the same breath, it was also revealed when the Odyssey Neo G9 8K will be presented to the public for the first time: At the CES technology fair in Las Vegas, which will be held from January 5th to 8th, 2023, the Who’s Who of all tech giants in the US desert state of Nevada gathered, the new Samsung monitor is to be seen live for the first time.
Also interesting…
The basic look and design of the screen are already known: After all, Samsung only released the 4K version of the Odyssey Neo G9 in 2021. Incidentally, the previous version of the smart ultrawide display already costs more than 1,600 dollars – the price for the 8K monitor with Display Port 2.1 should therefore be significantly higher in comparison. You will probably find out more about this in 2023 – at the earliest at CES.
