“Maidama Tensei 5” tells the story of an ordinary high school student accidentally falling into the dystopian world of Tokyo. This dark and challenging turn-based JRPG impressed critics with its fascinating story, interesting interactions, and other quality of life improvements based on past iterations. Persona purists are not satisfied with this colder story, but for fans of turn-based combat and morally challenging concepts, it is still worth considering.
