- The age rating could indicate an imminent announcement about the release date.
The Silent Hill 2 remake has been announced since 2022, but Konami hasn’t revealed much information yet. However, that could soon change.
As the Gematsu on X (formerly Twitter) shows, the upcoming title has now received an age rating in Korea. According to this, the Silten Hill 2 remake is not suitable for young people.
Contains excessive violence, excessive blood, expressions of violence and disgust. This information is hardly surprising, since Silent Hill has been given an age rating of 16 and over and the original Silent Hill 2 is only available for ages 18 and over.
Notice of announcement
However, the age rating in Korea might suggest something else. The announcement of the release date for the upcoming game is still pending.
The age rating could indicate that a release date announcement is coming soon. After all, release is usually only sought after a game has been fully developed.
There is currently no official age classification in Germany and an announcement of the release date is still pending. As soon as there is official information, you will find it as usual in our game release list.
