As a nice icing on the cake, at the end of his video appointment, Konami lifted the veil on “Silent Hill f”, a new installment in the famous horror franchise! This time we’re going to Japan – a first for games that have always taken place in the United States. A very wise choice?
A new Silent Hill will be released

During a recent video event, the Japanese publisher unveiled four new projects: a feature film, again directed by Christophe Gans, and not one, not two, but three video games. At the moment, the Japanese publisher is talking about a “brand new story” that takes place in a world that is both “great | spooky”. The first trailer gives us a glimpse of a rural Japan apparently enveloped in a disturbing fog – signature of the license – while a young woman fights a strange red plant. It is undoubtedly the sign of the “Otherworld” , the villainous real-world counterpart that is central to Silent Hill. The video ends with a shot of the same character being gnawed to the bone by the curse, to the point of losing face…literally, yes.
This is clearly a new atmosphere for the series, reminiscent of the feature film Midsommar. It must be said that the Japan is a first for Silent Hill. The main episodes always take place in the United States, the country where the city of the same name is installed, simply. It is therefore frankly fascinating to know how Konami and the studio Neobards Entertainment (Resident Evil 3 Remake; Resident Evil Re: Verse) will transfer the atmosphere of the license to this new playground.Incidentally, we can relate to Silent Hill more as a concept than as a concept see a horrifying story tied to a place.
