In the meantime, new rumors about Silent Hill’s comeback are pouring in almost every hour: In the evening there will be fresh insider information on what the line-up of the horror brand’s comeback could look like.
This morning, due to a seemingly impending deal from Sony with Bloober Team, it became clear that Silent Hill could be exclusive to the PS5 in the future – a fact that the well-informed Jeff Grubb also believes is possible. Towards the evening there is now more insider information about the comeback, which seems to be approaching in big steps.
With NateTheHate, another well-known leak jumps on the bandwagon and says that there should be a remake, a new main game and various “side stories” within the horror franchise – i.e. subplots, of which it is unclear to what extent these will become their own games .
The remake is said to be the comeback of Silent Hill 2, as the leaker now reports; this should be created by the mentioned horror developer Bloober Team. In the new edition you will therefore be able to expect revised puzzles and new endings; From a purely playful point of view, not everything stays the same. And indeed: At least for a limited time, this remake should be reserved exclusively for the PlayStation. It is unclear whether this also applies to the new main part of Silent Hill, which is also in the works.
The fact that NateTheHate could hit the mark with his statements is also made clear by another circumstance: Jeff Grubb from VentureBeat is back again and has now commented on the topic again. He confirmed via Twitter that he had received similar information from several different sources. Not all sources are of a primary nature, i.e. not located directly with Konami and/or Bloober Team, but the information would add up overall. All the details also correspond to the big reveal supposedly planned for E3 last year, which was ultimately canceled at short notice.
