Golden times are ahead for fans of Silent Hill. Lots of new titles from the horror brand were only announced in October, and now there are also the first details about the mysterious project “The Short Message”.
It wasn’t until October that Konami started the big sweep and presented heaps of new titles in the Silent Hill series. Thanks to Silent Hill: Townfall, Silent Hill f, Silent Hill: Ascension and, of course, the remake of Silent Hill 2, horror fans have plenty of reasons to get a good scare.

For a few weeks now, however, another name has been haunting the internet with Silent Hill: The Short Message. It is not yet known what lies behind this. An entry in the Taiwanese rating board has now revealed at least a first piece of artwork that you can see above. But that doesn’t tell you much more about the game.
The description, in which the story of The Short Message is outlined, is already more interesting. The story revolves around Anita, who visits an abandoned apartment to meet her friend Maya. However, the heroine is suddenly trapped in the premises and now has to face her fears. Of course, there are also monsters lurking in the corridors that you should escape from.
So it’s pretty cryptic what’s currently planned. Konami is given as the developer and publisher, the entry is for the PlayStation 5. There has been no official announcement so far, but it shouldn’t be long.
