Revealed today in Konami’s Silent Hill transmission, this is the first time we’ve seen the series since Silent Hill was canceled, and in addition to a flurry of rumors and leaks, the Silent Hill series will receive another new game called Silent Hill: Town Falls.
Konami hired the work of Scottish developer No Code to develop the Silent Hill series, with Annapurna Interactive as publisher.
No Code is known for “Untold Stories” and “Observations”, and Annapurna Interactive is the publisher of hits such as “Remains of Edith Finch,” “Neon White,” and “Wanderer.” This seems like a promising pairing.
The trailer doesn’t reveal much, but you can watch it for yourself at around 22 minutes of the stream embedded above. Maybe someone smarter than me can deduce something from this. Game director Jon McKellan has said that we can have more information in 2023.
And that’s not all we’ve learned during the Silent Hill transmission, Konami revealed Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake, a new movie called Return to Silent Hill, and two other games: Silent Hill: Ascension and Silent Hill F.
