Silver Pines is a mixture of The X-Files, survival horror and Metroidvania. You control FBI agent Red Walker, who suddenly wakes up in an abandoned diner in the small American town of Silver Pines without knowing how he got there. Your tasks are to solve the town’s secrets and conspiracies, fight nightmarish monsters and, of course, survive. To do this, you not only have to solve tricky puzzles in the old Resident Evil style, but also be able to handle your weapons. The short trailer shows some gameplay scenes. These include a jump-and-run passage and some fights with different weapons. Silver Pines is being developed by Wych Elms Games and is due to be released for PC via Steam. However, there is no release window yet.
