The Apple Watch becomes a talented AI assistant: The Petey app has been released in a new version and now masters the latest version of ChatGPT, GPT-4.
Since Siri can wrap up: If you don’t want to be satisfied with answers like “I found this on the Internet” on the Apple Watch, you should take a look at the Petey app.
It is the updated form of the previously released watchGPT app, which now supports the latest version of ChatGPT. However, GPT-4 is only available as an in-app purchase and must be purchased separately at a price of 2.99 dollars. Who the app now via the App Store
But both the app itself and the in-app purchase can be worthwhile, as it gives you access to the AI from your wrist. The answers to the questions are extensive, useful and far superior to those of conventional language assistants such as Siri or the Google Assistant. There is also a practical complication for your watch face.
Who is the best player of 1. FC Köln?
We asked the app various things as a test, for example we asked for information about a rice pudding recipe. After a pause of about ten seconds, the Apple Watch or Petey spat out a good recipe. A little finger exercise for the app.
More tricky for the AI are subjective assessments, such as the question of the best soccer player at 1. FC Köln. The AI replied as follows:
“It’s subjective and depends on personal opinion. There are many great players who have played for 1. FC Köln. Some of the best known are probably Lukas Podolski, Toni Schuhmacher and Wolfgang Overath.”
Afterwards – also a big difference to Siri – follow-up questions can be asked. For example “Who is better – Podolski or Overath? The app replies: “That is again subjective and depends on personal opinion. Both were great players and have shown different skills and achievements. Overath was an outstanding playmaker and captain, having enjoyed many successes with 1. FC Köln, while Podolski was a successful international. So it’s hard to say who is “better”.
If you want, you can have the answers read aloud and customize the icon. So give the app a try! By the way, we don’t think ChatGPT will be featured on the upcoming Apple Watch Series 9. We have written down here for you how you can try out ChatGPT for free from your computer.
