Unexpectedly, Square Enix released a major update to Final Fantasy 3.
The patch is available overnight Final fantasy 3 Steam and Android and iOS owners. It brings a new user interface to the PC version and supports 21: 9.
Fonts in various menus and screens of the game have also been improved (thanks, @FeoUltima), Square adds many new languages to the Steam version, including Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Thai.
Now all versions of Final Fantasy 3 will also benefit from the gallery mode and the new 2x speed in automatic battles.
This is the first patch for Final Fantasy 3 since it first appeared on Steam 6 years ago. To celebrate, the game is sold on Steam for 50% off.
