A new skateboard simulation called skate. has been in the works for a long time, which aims to revive the former glory days of the Tony Hawk series. Up until now, we didn’t really know when we could expect an official release – but that has changed today.
Developer Full Circle has now announced that skate. will finally launch in early access in 2025. There was no specific time frame yet, but at least there is now light at the end of the tunnel for those interested in the date.
In the run-up to the Early Access launch, there will be another test run on consoles, as the creators also announced: “Over the past two years, the team has already welcomed tens of thousands of test players to the virtual city of San Vansterdam in the PC version. The console playtest is scheduled to begin in autumn 2024. To take part in the playtest, players can register today as skate. Insider
