Skull & Bones: Ubisoft’s pirate game gets an insider program

It lives! Skull & Bones is still in development and Ubisoft now appears to be entering another phase. The publisher wants to collect feedback with a new insider program.

The history of Skull & Bones is long and painful. Launched several years ago, Ubisoft has thrown the title over and over again and there is no sign of an early release.

After all, last year the game finally reached alpha status and now Ubisoft is apparently starting another step in the development process. From now on you can Sign up for a new Skull & Bones Insider program. A handful of selected players are given the opportunity to take a close look at the current state of the game. Not only confidentiality in the form of an NDA is required, but also patience and commitment, since there are certainly still a few stumbling blocks.

With this new test phase, Ubisoft wants to collect further feedback, which hopefully does not end in the game being postponed again indefinitely. Still, it’s a good idea to involve the players in order to get the title on the right track.
