Last April, Paramount+ launched a series highly anticipated by SEGA fans: Knuckles. This Sonic spin-off received a mostly positive reception, although it only reached countries where the service was available, leaving much of Europe affected.
However, after several months of waiting, Sky Showtime has confirmed the premiere date of Knuckles on its platform, thus reaching Europe and other countries of the Old Continent such as France, Italy and Germany. The series will be available in Europe on August 3, 2024, with Spanish dubbing.
It is important to note that only the first three episodes of the series can be seen that day. The remaining three chapters will be added to the Paramount-owned streaming platform on September 14, more than a month after the initial premiere.
The Sonic franchise in cinemas and television is booming: in recent years we have enjoyed two films and a series, and this year we expect a third installment with Shadow as a guest star. Despite this, Paramount does not want to rush and already has other projects in mind related to the famous SEGA mascot.
