The London Symphony Orchestra and The Voice of London recently performed the soundtrack of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to celebrate its tenth anniversary. As part of this concert, the orchestra also played a set of music from the upcoming Bethesda Space Game Star field, Making the concert the most complete glimpse of how the final game sounds.
The Starfield Suite contains nearly 10 minutes of new music, drawing many clues from large-scale space operas such as “Star Wars”, while having a unique sound that spins soft moments in its large and exaggerated crescendo. Of course, since Starfield is an open world game, quiet moments will be important. You don’t want the soundtrack to be difficult all the time.
We’ve heard of the conceptual development direction of the game before. Bethesda recently released a video discussing the game’s settings, settlement system and its three factions. The video also shows some conceptual art of the appearance of the game, but it is not as complete as the music previewed in the orchestral performance.
Starfield is an exclusive product for Xbox and PC. Todd Howard of Bethesda thinks this is a good thing because it will make the development team more focused. It has been advertised as the “Han Solo Simulator”, “just like the sky in space”. However, before its release, we still have an official trailer for us to experience the appearance of the game.
Starfield will release a version for Xbox and PC on November 11, 2022.
