TESRenewal provided an update Skeblevienits fan-made experience brings The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion into Skyrim’s new engine.
Skyblivion has been in development since 2012 and is expected to launch in 2025, and the developers want to show you how things are progressing.
In the video below, the team shows off the game’s systems, part of the world map, new cities, Ayleid dungeons, and more.
Upon release, Skyblivion will contain a remastered version of the entire Cyrodiil, with many classic Oblivion mechanics such as spell crafting, a complete class and attribute system, underwater combat, and NPC disposal.
You can expect improvements such as remastered graphics, weather, lighting, an expanded soundtrack, new game mechanics, and a limited selection of mini-missions with original voice acting.
When it’s released into the wild, you’ll have access to Oblivion’s DLC pre-world spaces, systems, and missions. After a period of bug fixes and community-supported updates, the project development team will continue to develop Oblivion’s nine content. Additional content released as well as the Shivering Isles expansion.
Sounds great to us.
