Now, thanks to the Skyrim Building Bridges mod, you can share in-game news on almost any platform (thanks to PCGamesN).
“This plugin allows players to interact with each other by leaving messages in the game world,” reads the mod’s description. “These messages will appear in other players’ games, and you’ll see what they’ve written.” The description goes on to explain that messages can be left in any internal or external cell from any module, which obviously means it can also be found in the official DLC or any mod found on Nexus or anywhere else.
Unlike Soul Games, you can write any message you like instead of giving people a limited vocabulary. While this might take away some of the mystery surrounding the messages you’ll find in Lands Between, it does mean players can offer more help than usual. There is also a rating system where players can manage their messages at any time. It is also possible to report messages in case they violate the Building Bridges rules, one of which is very sensible “No Hate Speech”.
Mod maker TommInfinite even showed what the mods looked like in action, showing players how their information would appear in the world in the form of small sticky notes. It’s a really lovely addition to Skyrim and makes the journey feel less lonely.
