Nvidia’s much-discussed Geforce RTX 4080 was released in mid-November. After the usual picture of shops selling out quickly and prices well above the RRP briefly appeared at the launch, the situation quickly eased in contrast to the significantly faster top model RTX 4090.
The frequently voiced assumption about the reasons: the price/performance ratio is simply not right for many gamers. In an anonymous survey, we would now like to know from you whether you own an RTX 4080 or which graphics card is in your gaming PC. Participate!
Our author Alexander Köpf has already dedicated a column to the discussion about the RTX 4080, its price and its attractiveness for gamers. You can find them at the following link:

RX 7900 XTX Unboxing – This is what AMD’s new Radeon flagship looks like
Another potentially important aspect that could speak in favor of not (yet) buying an RTX 4080: AMD’s new graphics cards of the RX 7000 generation are just around the corner (see also the unboxing video above).
They should not only be strong competition for the RTX 4080 in terms of performance, but also in terms of price, at least as far as the official RRP is concerned. At USD 999 (RX 7900 XTX) or USD 899 (RX 7900 XT), it is clearly below the information for the RTX 4080 (EUR 1,399).
However, there have recently been reports that the RX-7000 generation could struggle with low availability and high prices at the time of release. You can find out more about this here:
