By defragmenting your hard drive with Smart Defrag, you will speed up your storage and improve its performance. We show how it works.

Alternative: in-house defragmentation tool
With the in-house defragmentation tool from Windows, you unfortunately have to do without many comfort functions that make your work easier when formatting and deleting data. Smart Defrag offers significantly more options to personalize the defragmentation and adapt it to your needs.
Securely erase files & disks
All data should be thoroughly erased from data carriers before sale or disposal. Simply formatting the hard drive or deleting individual files is not enough here. If you really want to be on the safe side, you can use special tools for consistent data destruction.
In addition, the software uses intelligent technology that automatically sorts data according to how often it is used for a further speed boost. Smart Defrag not only copes with conventional HDD hard drives, but also supports the modern Solid State Drive (SSD) system. The manufacturer promises maximum security for your data while it is being rearranged.
In the following steps we will show you how to start a complete defragmentation of your hard disks with Smart Defrag in order to restore the optimal reading and writing speed.
