The MOBA genre hit hard its good years ago thanks to League of Legends, which remains fireproof. Another of the titles that stood out during that boom was Smite, who carried the formula to an entirely three-dimensional perspective.
The game from Hi-Rez Studios, which is now available as Free to Play on practically all platforms, now comes to another one. Smite has premiered on the Epic Games Store, where too can be played for free.
Of course, includes serial crossplay to play with Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PS4 users. It will also be possible to transfer the progress to our Epic account and vice versa so as not to lose anything, although at the moment this function is not compatible with PS4.
The great incentive with which Hi-Rez and Epic want to attract players to this platform is an exclusive starter pack with free content. Includes five characters, five skins for them, and five voice packs.
According to the company, this pack is valued at 50 euros. I don't deny it, but that's what the separate Digital Deluxe Edition costs, which includes all the characters in the game (more than 100) and guarantees immediate access to new ones who are leaving. This edition is reduced by 20% for a limited time on Epic, so it comes out now for 39.99 euros.
