After the Season Pass 2 including the first DLC for Sniper Elite 5 was recently confirmed, the second additional content is now available in this context. Here we tell you what to expect in “Death From Above”.
Rebellion continues to expand Sniper Elite 5 and h as released the next DLC with “Death From Above” as part of Season Pass 2. The focus of the new content pack is a new gun as well as new skins. But there’s also a free new no-cross multiplayer map called The Dam.
But let’s stay with the paid DLC, which costs 9.99 dollars individually or is available together with the already available “Rough Landing” package and two other content packages in Season Pass 2 for 29.99 dollars. “Death From Above” includes, among other things, the Pedersen rifle that was proposed as part of a program to introduce a semi-automatic insert for the M1903. It doesn’t offer any scope options, but is arguably best in class for use with a sight and is capable of firing fast and accurate shots at medium range. It offers high overall stability.
In the DLC you will also receive the striking British Dazzle weapon skin for all weapons. This is a homage to the “Dazzle Camouflage” design used on British tanks during the desert campaigns. In addition, both Karl and Monika will receive new character skins: Karl’s British Bomber skin gives him a distinct aviator look, while Monika’s Air Auxiliary skin reflects the uniforms of the Women’s Air Corps, whose task it was to create new or to transport repaired aircraft to active military airfields across the UK.
However, the above-mentioned multiplayer map “The Dam” is free for all players and takes you to the remains of a dam that was partially destroyed by Allied bombing. A river and ruined bridges divide the two sides of the map, with one side offering ample cover and sniper positions thanks to a tangle of pipes and industrial metal railings. However, players on the other side can use the higher, more natural terrain to their advantage.
