CI Games announced today that the PS5 version of “Sniper Ghost Warrior Contract 2” will be postponed due to unforeseen technical problems discovered in the weeks before its release.
This will not affect Sniper Ghost Warrior Contract 2 Released on other announced platforms-the game will still launch on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox X/S, and PC as planned on June 4.
CI Games is confident in the performance of the game on other platforms, and has an experienced team “working hard to ensure that the PS5 version meets similar high standards.”

In view of this news, CI Games decided to provide the first major DLC version (new and extensive maps and new contracts) for free to all players in all versions including PS5.

In addition, both the digital version and the physical version of the PS4 iteration will be upgraded to the PS5 version for free and downloaded immediately after release to ensure that PS5 players can still buy and play games on June 4.
