Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 has been available for most platforms for a few days, only PS5 players are looking into the tube so far. That should change in a few weeks.
CI Games announced in a press release today that the PS5 version of Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 now also has a release date. The first-person shooter will therefore be available for Sony’s current console from August 24, 2021. Previously, implementations for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC had already been published on June 4th.
In the PS5 version you can of course look forward to further improvements. Specifically on the Sony platform, there is the use of the adaptive DualSense triggers, which are intended to give each weapon its own feel. In addition, improved SSD loading times, updated textures and graphics as well as the option to play either in performance mode with 60 fps at 2K resolution or in graphics mode at 30 fps in 4K resolution are on board.
Anyone who has already bought the PS4 version will receive a digital upgrade to the PS5 version if they have already purchased the new console. This upgrade will be available with the August 24th release.
The developers also had good news for the players on all other platforms: You can look forward to the return to the wilderness of Kuamar in a first major content expansion. This DLC should be available free of charge to all players on all platforms – in addition to PS5, also on PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC. What is included is a brand new and extensive region with additional goals and contracts.
