Earlier this year, one of the platform’s most successful series arrived on Crunchyroll: Solo Leveling. The adaptation of the best-selling manhwa of all time confirmed its second season right after the end of the first, and now, just a few months later, we’ve finally been able to get our first look at it.
At the Anime Expo in Los Angeles, Crunchyroll released a first preview in the form of teaserwhere we can see Sung Jin Woo fighting all kinds of enemies in a frozen place. Everything points to it being one of the many portals he will visit throughout the second season.
A-1 Pictures has once again demonstrated its quality with this preview, emphasizing once again that it is the ideal studio for an anime of this caliber. The first season left some very interesting moments, and it seems that the quality of the action sequences will go up a notch in this second season.
However, it is not all good news. As shown in the teaser trailer, there is still no confirmed release date, and Crunchyroll has simply stated “Coming soon.” This suggests that we will have to wait until early or mid-2025 at the latest.
