The unreleased Solo Leveling spin-off has been revealed on its Kakao page, to the delight of fans.
You’ve been waiting, here it is: the long-awaited spin-off following the release of Solo Leveling marks its local debut on the Kakao platform. The first 105 chapters have been published in light novel and if the story is only available in Korean for the time being, fans will be happy. No translation has been dated yet.
As a reminder, this new story called Solo Leveling: Ragnarok focuses on the story of the character of Sung Su-ho, son of Sung Jin-woo. This is the first solo leveling expansion to go live since the saga’s designer, DUBU, died in July 2022 after suffering a brain hemorrhage. Chugong, the writer of the original Solo Leveling series, left the writing job to Dungeon Reset and Infinite Reset writer Daul. “I will do my best to make the ongoing story of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok happy for the readers. We ask for your love and interest in the future!” then wrote the latter.
Solo leveling is coming to Crunchyroll soon
As a reminder, Solo Leveling takes place in a world invaded by portals infested with demonic creatures. Certain particular individuals, the hunters, are then in charge of closing them, our protagonist is one of them. The anime series won’t premiere on Crunchyroll until next year in January 2024. It is produced by the Japanese studios A-1 Pictures (86: Eighty-Six, Fairy Tail, Lycoris Recoil, Mashle, NieR: Automata Ver1.1a, Persona 5: The Animation, Sword Art Online).
