Star Wars Jedi: Survivor The latest issue seems to be that some players are losing their pre-order and deluxe edition items.
Despite the high ratings, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s launch hasn’t been the smoothest, with the latest installment more annoying than spoiling the experience, but it’s still a problem. Earlier this week, players began reporting on the game’s subreddit that they were unable to access the deluxe edition and pre-order content, which would randomly appear and disappear for no apparent reason. EA shared in this support post that it is “aware of these reports and is investigating the issue.”
The post also provides some troubleshooting details for those who may be experiencing issues, offering some possible solutions to get the bonus content to appear again. Although until the problem is fully resolved, it’s worth remembering that it may disappear temporarily again. At the time of writing, a complete solution has not been found, and players are still reporting that they are intermittently unable to access the DLC.
Players started noticing the issue after this week’s patch, which was supposed to improve some of the issues the game had, so it’s entirely possible that the patch subsequently caused the bug. But there’s no practical way to know, such is the fickle nature of game development.
One of the biggest fixes that comes with the patch is that it can cause your game to completely softlock, which happens if you don’t save after leaving a certain area and then die.
Still, all these issues don’t mean it’s a bad game, as iGamesNews’s Connor gave it four stars, writing: “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a step up from its predecessor and very Fun, as long as you don’t let the collectible-obsessed looters get you. It’s not a narrative masterpiece, nor is it the most engaging action game in the world. But it doesn’t do anything bad, and it excels where it counts. ”
