The cult blue hedgehog Sonic is supposed to go on his first open world adventure in Sonic Frontiers, but there is still no official release date. This could now have been leaked (again).
As we already know, Sonic Frontiers will celebrate its public premiere at gamescom in the new week and will also be represented in the Opening Night Live on Tuesday evening. Maybe we will then also find out official information about the release date, because this was not communicated further. It may have been leaked now.
A retail shop in Taiwan has now updated the corresponding product listing for Sonic Frontiers and lists November 15, 2022 as the release date for the SEGA title. What makes the entry so special in this case is the fact that it has also been given additional information. Accordingly, Sonic Frontiers should also receive a number of DLC content after the actual release.
If the date sounds familiar to you, it might be because it’s not the first time it’s appeared in a leak around the game. At the end of 2021, the same date popped up briefly in the PlayStation database before it was finally removed again. Although the official confirmation is still pending, the signs of a release in mid-November seem to be at least increasing.
Sonic Frontiers was first presented at The Game Awards 2021 for PC, PlayStation, Switch and Xbox. The new 3D adventure from Sonic is intended to offer an evolved gameplay experience and, for the first time, transports you to an at least partially open game world.
