Sonic x Shadow Generation The release date was just announced during the Summer Game Festival 2024. The game will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on October 25th.
The trailer we saw at Summer Game Fest 2024 gave us a glimpse at some of the gameplay we can expect, with Sonic and Shadow darting through remastered levels from several generations ago. Of course, all of this is paired with an EDM x rock soundtrack, perfect for the Year of Shadow. You can watch the trailer for yourself below!

We also got a look at the Ultimate Edition of the game, which comes with a journal and offers retro Sonic skins for pre-orders. The game looks to be a super cool remake of one of Sonic’s most popular and beloved titles.
