Video games are an extremely opaque industry, to the chagrin of their watchers, journalists, and even their own actors. Some of the hard-to-get information is, to say the least, about the game’s sales. Exceptional boxing aside, editors are generally reluctant to talk about it. Because of this, even the smallest detail about selling games is priceless.

Today’s information on sales of several Sony PS4 exclusives comes from the profile LinkedIn by Tim Kamienski, the current Vice President of Marketing for Warner Bros. Entertainment. Before working with Warner Bros. Games, Tim Kamienski spent several years at PlayStation, where he was also responsible for games marketing.
From 2013 to 2018 Tim Kamienski was Marketing Director at PlayStation. And in the part of his online résumé that looks back on his years at Sony, he reveals the commercial success of several PS4 games. While working at PlayStation, he and his team have:
Exceeded sales and profit targets for InFAMOUS Second Son, Bloodborne, Ratchet & Clank, Shadow of the Colossus and LittleBIGPlanet 3.
Unfortunately, if the sales figures for these five games are not discussed, it is still interesting to note that Sony did better than expected with them. Ultimately, given that some of these titles have had sequels or spin-offs recently, this situation is not surprising.
As an aside, it should be noted that Tim Kamienski is also congratulated on having helped PlayStation VR become the leader in virtual reality in terms of market share in less than twelve months.
